The Slope of a Line | |
The slope of a line is the difference between its Y-values divided by the difference of its X-values: sometimes stated as the "rise" divided by the "run." Change the line's slope to 1.0 by adjusting the slope slider. When the slope value is 1.0, the slope angle is 45 degrees. A line can also have a "negative" slope. Set the intercept at 5.0 and change the slope to -0.3 |
